Beautiful spray figure in the shape of 3 bronze herons. The bronze of this statue has a guaranteed copper content of 75%, which greatly enhances its lifespan and appearance.<\/p>\n

This bronze statue was made using the molten wax method, an age-old technique. An approximately 3 mm thick layer of wax is applied to the mold, after which the rest of the space is filled with special clay. When the mold preparations are complete, liquid bronze is poured into the mold from above, the wax melts and drains; the resulting space is filled with bronze. After cooling, the mold is opened, after which the sculpture is processed, polishing, grinding, removing burrs, etc. For larger bronze sculptures and statues, bronze is cast in parts, after which those parts are very carefully soldered together, the seams are then polished and sanded into a complete bronze object. Bronze statues are treated with different acids to get the right color. Each type of acid causes its own oxidation which will be permanent.<\/p>\n

Bronze statues can also be left outside, the statue will become somewhat matt, which many people find beautiful. If you want to maintain the shine, you should rub the bronze sculpture with beeswax twice a year.<\/p>\n
