This bronze statue is made with the molten wax method, an ancient technique. After cooling, the mold is opened, after which the image is processed, polishing, grinding, removing burrs, etc. For larger bronze sculptures and statues, bronze is cast in parts, after which the parts are soldered together very carefully, the seams are then polished and sanded to a complete bronze object. Bronze sculptures are treated with different acids to get the right color. Each type of acid causes its own oxidation, which will be permanent.<\/p>\n
